As many of you know, I've served as a Holly Springs Town Councilman for the past 8 years.  During this time, your town council has accomplished a staggering amount.  It truly is "your" town council, as we serve our neighbors in guiding the town and its development.  Although Holly Springs has been growing since the early nineties, our efforts over the past 8 years have created unprecedented achievements for our town (see "accomplishments").  In fact, the August 2007 issue of Money Magazine ranks Holly Springs #22 on their list of “America’s Best Places to Live”!

My reason for seeking re-election is simple.  I want to continue what we've started.  There are a tremendous amount of projects underway.  From water and wastewater infrastructure projects, to park construction, to new stores and schools, and lots, lots more in-between, we've got a lot going on around here.  I feel we're going, and growing, in the right direction.  We have higher development standards than ever before, without being over-restrictive or prohibitive.  Our town staff is now a cohesive team that works tirelessly to make Holly Springs a wonderful place to live.  I'm proud to serve on a council that isn't afraid to say "no" to proposals and plans contrary to the high expectations and standards we've set. 

I'm passionate and energetic about Holly Springs, and my energy has only increased in my second term.  I have always believed that active discussion and debate among board members are essential when critical issues are before us, if we are to make sound decisions.  I've spent a part of nearly every day over the past 8 years working for all Holly Springs residents- either on the phone, through email exchange or at meetings.  With your support, I'll be happy to work hard for you for another 4 years.
